C.O.P.S

Each year, between 140 and 160 officers are killed in the line of duty. Concerns of Police Survivors, Inc., (C.O.P.S.) was founded in 1984 to help the families and co-workers of fallen officers cope with their tragic loss. C.O.P.S. provides resources to help them rebuild their shattered lives, training to law enforcement agencies on survivor victimization issues, and public education on the need to support law enforcement professionals and their surviving families and friends.
